After competing for two months with very innovative startups, a jury of experts from the automotive industry selected Nanomade as a finalist of the ACF Automotive Startup Challenge. The Grand Finale will take place at the Automobile Club de France in Paris on April 12, 2018.

It’s an honor for Nanomade to have gone this far in the challenge and we can’t wait to present our technology before such a prestigious jury (names disclosed below).

During the France Tech Transfer Invest (FTTI), an event that aims to stimulate investment into French tech transfer spin-offs, Nanomade was awarded a Finalist spot and the chance to present at the European Venture Contest (EVC) taking place in Düsseldorf, Germany on December 11th, 2018. The EVC Final will present 100+ innovative companies from all over Europe to an international audience of investors, key corporates and innovation experts.

After shortlisting, 10 startups from different countries won tickets to present their projects at Web Summit. Virtual reality, mobile apps, Internet of Things… Each startup had a few minutes to pitch their ideas to win over the jury of the VINCI Airports Innovation Challenge, composed of experts in IT, extra-aeronautical activities, communications and operations. Startups had the opportunity to propose concepts that improve the global passenger experience, reduce stress or create contact between passengers and local experts in the city served.

The Challenge jury was seduced by the Toulouse-based startup Nanomade and its nano-sensor technology, which can be used to make any surface touch and pressure sensitive.

The IDTechEx Launchpad initiative features early-stage start-ups, universities, newly spun-out companies, and research labs or government labs who will demonstrate a working prototype or product that highlights new advances in any of the related event topics of 3D printing, electric vehicles, energy harvesting, energy storage, graphene, Internet of Things, printed electronics, sensors, or wearable technology.
