Pulse - SmartBed
Project
Our goal was to create a non-intrusive medical monitoring process for nursing home residents. We wanted to:- - Create an automated monitoring system for patients on site or at home (detection of stress, fatigue, respiratory problems, tachycardia, ...) ;
- - Allow caregivers to focus on patients who need assistance, especially at night.
Execution
Our sensors have been integrated on beds to measure in a non-intrusive way the level of stress, fatigue or sleepiness of the patient (HRV, heart rate, breathing rate and movement density measurements). We combined this technology with our artificial intelligence processes to alert the medical team of an abnormal situation.The Nanomade solution
Nanomade's ultra-thin, flexible and highly sensitive force sensors can detect the slightest movements of the human body, even under a thick mattress, including the deformation of arteries following a heartbeat (BCG measurement). An autonomous software connected to the pulse performs a health check-up as soon as it detects the presence of an individual.
