Nanomade CapaForce© sensor Capaforce© de Nanomade Nanomade CapaForce© sensor is a unique device combining in a single, thin, flexible layer, both capacitive and force-sensing technologies. Each device can be activated (or deactivated) by software and in real time, in isolation or simultaneously. By combining the 2 devices, Capaforce© CapaForce© makes it possible, for example, to reject unintentional touch inputs and to adjust the force necessary to activate an application. Using the Force device, Capaforce© CapaForce© becomes a deformation sensor allowing, for example, to detect shocks on an aircraft structure or on an electronic device.

Placed under any material (wood, plastic, leather, etc.) and implementable on any 3D shape, Capaforce© CapaForce© transforms any object into a force-sensitive interface for tactile or deformation applications. The components delivered in the KIT can be used as is for evaluation purposes or glued on an applicative material which will thus become tactile or sensitive to deformation.

CAPAFORCE© MATRIX DEVELOPMENT KIT

Nanomade CapaForce© sensor Capaforce© Matrix de Nanomade sensor is a matrix of sensors offering same MultiPoint functionalities as a computer TrackPad. Implemented in its KIT version in 3*2 sensors, it combines in a single thin and flexible layer a matrix capacitive touch device and a matrix force detection device. Each device can be activated (or deactivated) by software and in real time, in isolation or simultaneously.
By combining the 2 devices, CapaForce© Matrix makes it possible, for example, to reject unintentional touch inputs, to recognize gestures (e.g. left to right sweeping movement) and allows the detection of support forces in multipoint.
Using the Force device, CapaForce© Matrix CapaForce© becomes a deformation sensor allowing, for example, to detect shocks on an aircraft structure or on an electronic device.

ACCESSORIES CAPAFORCE© DL (DOUBLE LAYER) SENSORS (20PCS)

Set of 20 double-sided sensors compatible with CapaForce© and CapaForce© Matrix development kits. Sensors are made with a double-sided FPC substrate (copper + PI) with a total thickness of 250 μm (50 μm thicker than single-sided CapaForce© sensors). This configuration is recommended to increase the accuracy of capacitive detection under thin layers, it also simplifies electronics routing.
