HMI / Force & Touch

Force and touch sensing for any surface.

With AI that understands any gesture.

Designed for real-world interaction.

01

Touch through any material

Ultra-sensitive touch and force detection through metal, wood, leather, glass and thick plastics, with gradual haptic feedback and seamless backlighting.

02

Reliable in any condition

Consistent response with gloves, wet hands, rain, sweat or condensation.

03

Intentional inputs only

With Capaforce, the finger is detected on contact and a deliberate press confirms the action, so accidental touches never trigger a command.

04

Seamless integration into any shape

Thin, flexible sensors that fit curved surfaces, from smartglasses and earbuds to steering wheels, with no mechanical buttons.

05

Intuitive, premium user experience

Pressure-graduated haptics, light effects, gestures and presence detection for controls users can operate by feel.

Simple gestures. Richer interactions.

From a simple tap to a pinch or a custom pattern, our AI recognizes a wide range of gestures directly on the surface. Because it combines touch and force data, it can tell a light touch from a firm press, so each gesture triggers exactly the action you intended.

Ultra-sensitive

Based on patented quantum tunneling, the nanoparticle ink detects micro-scale surface deformations, with sensors 75 times more sensitive than standard strain gauges in internal benchmarks.

Thin & flexible

0,2mm thickness. Can be placed under wood, plastic or leather and implemented on any 3D shape.

Force & Touch

Capacitive touch and force sensing are combined on a single patented sensor under the Capaforce brand, telling light contact apart from a deliberate press.

Robustness under harsh conditions

Operating range from -40°C to 85°C. Resistant to 10M cycles with less than 5% variation.

Transparency

Fully transparent, flexible film combining capacitive touch and force sensing in a single ultra-thin stack

Low power

A high signal-to-noise ratio combined with low power consumption, suited to wearables and battery-powered devices.

From sensor to product: a complete integration-ready solution.

Nanomade combines custom sensors, compact chip-on-flex electronics and edge AI signal processing in a single solution, compatible with haptic and light feedback. Touch detects the user’s presence while a deliberate press confirms the action, for reliable and intuitive control through any material. Each integration is co-designed with our clients to fit their product’s geometry, from proof of concept to industrialisation.

A premium, natural user experience

Gradual haptic feedback and integrated light effects confirm every action, so users know their command has been registered without looking at the interface. Because Nanomade sensors adapt to curved and 3D shapes, controls blend seamlessly into the product’s design instead of interrupting it. The result is an interaction that feels intuitive, responsive and premium, whether on smartglasses, earbuds or a car interior.
